About LILY & ROO
LILY & ROO began with a very personal search.
When our founder, Brittany Preston, was searching for jewellery for her own wedding day, she struggled to find pieces that truly felt right. Everything she discovered either drew attention away from the dress or felt overly trend-led. She wanted something timeless and understated — jewellery that enhanced the look as the perfect finishing touch, rather than becoming the main focus.
She wanted jewellery that complemented the moment, not competed with it. Pieces that felt special enough for a wedding day, yet versatile enough to be worn again and again, on everyday outings, meaningful occasions, and celebrations long after the dress was packed away.
So she decided to create it.
Today, LILY & ROO is led by Brittany, and powered by a team of over 20 women who share a love for thoughtful design and beautifully made jewellery. Over 40% of our jewellery is handmade, and every piece is created with the same care and intention that inspired the brand from the very beginning.
All of our pearl jewellery is handmade in our office just outside London. The very same place where we pick and pack orders, and personally answer our customers’ questions every day. This hands-on approach allows us to maintain complete control over every piece that leaves our studio, ensuring exceptional quality, consistency, and attention to detail.
When sourcing components and working with external makers, we partner exclusively with ethical and sustainable suppliers who share our values. We believe that beautiful jewellery should be made responsibly, with respect for the people behind it and the world it’s worn in.
In a world of mass production, we’re proud to be different. Making jewellery in-house means every design is carefully handled, thoughtfully finished, and sent out with genuine care. Not just as a product, but as something meaningful.
