How would you describe your bridal hair style, and what drew you to working in the bridal industry?

I would describe my style as soft, modern and effortlessly elegant. I love creating hairstyles that enhance a bride's natural beauty and help her feel like the very best version of herself, rather than someone completely different.

What drew me to the bridal industry was the privilege of being part of such a special day. I love getting to know my brides throughout the planning process and being there on the wedding morning, helping to create a calm, enjoyable atmosphere. It's about so much more than styling hair – it's about being part of memories they'll treasure forever.

What are your top tips for brides when choosing their bridal hairstylist?

One of my biggest pieces of advice is not to choose your hairstylist based on price alone. Budget is important, but experience is invaluable on your wedding day.

An experienced bridal hairstylist knows how to work under pressure, adapt to last-minute changes and create a style that not only looks beautiful but lasts throughout the day and photographs perfectly. I'd always encourage brides to look through portfolios, read reviews and choose someone whose style they genuinely love. Your trial is also a great opportunity to see if you're a good fit, as you'll spend a big part of your wedding morning together.

What's the biggest bridal hair trend you're seeing this year?

Brides are embracing softer, more effortless styles that feel timeless but modern. One of the biggest trends is a relaxed take on the classic French twist, with beautiful texture and face-framing pieces that create a romantic, contemporary finish.

I'm also seeing lots of demand for soft half-up hairstyles with flowing waves. These styles strike the perfect balance between elegance and ease, creating a look that's feminine, flattering and long-lasting.

Do you have a signature bridal hairstyle that brides often ask for?

My signature style is a softly textured modern updo with plenty of movement and softness around the face. I'm also known for creating romantic hairstyles with soft waves that feel polished while still looking natural.

Every hairstyle is tailored to suit the individual bride, ensuring it complements her features, dress and overall wedding vision.

What advice would you give brides to help their hair look its best before the wedding?

Healthy hair is the foundation of every beautiful bridal hairstyle, so regular trims, conditioning treatments and looking after your hair in the months leading up to the wedding can make a huge difference.

I'd also recommend having a consultation or trial well in advance to discuss your vision and avoid making any drastic colour or haircut changes too close to the big day. The more prepared you are, the more relaxed and confident you'll feel.

How do you help brides choose a hairstyle that complements their dress, veil and jewellery?

I always start by getting to know the bride's personal style and how she usually wears her hair. From there, I consider the neckline of the dress, the veil, hair accessories and jewellery to make sure every element works together beautifully.

During the trial, we can experiment with different options to find a hairstyle that feels authentic, balanced and timeless.

Do you have any tips for styling bridal hair alongside jewellery and accessories?

I always encourage brides to think about their bridal look as a whole. Everything should complement one another rather than compete for attention.
