Charity Support: Little Village
At LILY & ROO, we are proud to support our chosen charity, Little Village. Since 2016, Little Village's baby banks have helped get quality items to families with babies and young children who are struggling financially to afford the essentials.
Through a combination of donations of pre-loved items, fundraising and financial donations from supporters, Little Village baby banks are able to get everyday items, such as clothes, shoes, bedding, changing and weaning equipment, as well as toys, books, buggies and more, to those who need them most.
Their team of staff and volunteers aim to “ensure that every baby and young child has access to the essentials they need to thrive". Each package of items is chosen thoughtfully with care for a specific child based not just on the things they need, but what they enjoy too. And the demand for their help has never been greater. LILY & ROO is powered by a team of over 20 women and with the help of our incredible customers together through this charity partnership we want to help more babies and children than ever before, to give them gifts that have been sent with solidarity and love.

Why support Little Village
Why Little Village’s work matters:
- There are currently 4 million children living in poverty in the UK, in London this is 1 in 3 children.
- The families they support tell them about the impossible choices they have to make – heartbreaking decisions, like: skipping their own meals so their children can eat (40% of parents); rationing nappies so a pack lasts longer (21%); and watering down their baby’s formula to stretch it further (10%)
The difference they have made so far:
- In the last year Little Village has provided essential things for babies and children 11,808 times, a significant increase of 27% in just 12 months as the need for support continues to grow.
- In 2025, Little Village gifted 147 tonnes of items to families, providing vital essentials to those who need them most and saving thousands of items from being sent to landfill.
