LILY & ROO BRIDES: Amy's Wedding Jewellery

bride wearing silver huggie pearl drop earrings, forehead to forehead with groom under her veil at foxtail barns wedding

On 10th June 2026, after more than a decade together, Amy and Stephen said "I do" at the beautiful Foxtail Barns in Staffordshire.

With a timeless, whimsical and textured aesthetic, their wedding day was romantic, elegant and full of thoughtful details. From Amy's beautifully simple satin gown and veil to the delicate pearl jewellery that completed her bridal look, every element came together effortlessly.

More than a decade after their love story first began, the day was a celebration of everything Amy and Stephen had built together and the beginning of their next chapter as husband and wife.

SHOP AMY'S LOOK

The Love Story

Amy and Stephen's story began back in 2013 when they met while working together at a supermarket. What started as a workplace romance soon became something much more, and years later, they found themselves standing side by side on their wedding day.

Over more than a decade together, they've grown alongside one another, built a life and a family, and shared so many of life's milestones. Their wedding at Foxtail Barns was the chance to celebrate everything that had brought them to that moment, surrounded by their favourite people.

It's safe to say tying the knot was worth the wait.

The Day

Amy and Stephen envisioned their wedding day as timeless, whimsical and full of texture, creating a romantic setting that felt elegant without being overly formal. The beautiful surroundings of Foxtail Barns provided the perfect backdrop, with thoughtful details throughout bringing their vision for the day together.

For Amy, however, the most memorable part wasn't a detail or decoration; it was finally saying their vows and becoming husband and wife.

After so many years together, there was something incredibly special about standing opposite one another and making those promises.

"I fell in love all over again," Amy told us.

It's a sentiment we love, and a reminder that amongst all the beautiful details, flowers, outfits and celebrations, the moments that stay with you are often the simplest ones.

Their wedding day wasn't just a celebration of a new beginning, but of the 12 years of memories, milestones and life together that had already brought them to this point.

The Jewellery

For her bridal jewellery, Amy wanted pieces that felt understated, elegant and perfectly in keeping with her wedding look.

Paired with her simple satin gown and veil, our Silver Huggie Pearl Drop Earrings and Silver Single Pearl Bracelet added a subtle touch of pearl without taking away from the simplicity of her dress.

Amy loved how dainty both pieces felt, with the pearls adding a classic finishing touch. She also chose jewellery she knew she could wear long after the wedding day, making each piece a lasting reminder of such a special moment.

Her Advice To Other Brides

After experiencing just how quickly the wedding day passes, Amy's biggest piece of advice to future brides is simple: "Don't sweat the small stuff."

It's easy to become caught up in perfecting every tiny detail in the lead-up to a wedding, but when the day arrives, Amy says those little things simply don't matter.

Instead, she recommends spending as much of the day by your partner's side as possible.

"Spend every moment by your partner's side – the day goes so quickly."

Take the time to look around, soak everything in and appreciate having all of the people you love together in one place. The smallest details might fade, but those moments together are the ones you'll remember.

Why LILY & ROO

Amy's LILY & ROO story began with an especially meaningful gift from her mum: our Silver Huggie Pearl Drop Earrings.

As soon as she received them, she fell in love with their quality and design.

"The quality was phenomenal. They were classy and dainty. Just perfect," Amy told us.

After falling in love with the earrings, she chose our matching Silver Single Pearl Bracelet to complete her bridal look. Now, both pieces hold memories of the day, with the earrings carrying the added sentiment of being a gift from her mum.

And Amy already has her eye on her next LILY & ROO piece: our Silver Small Diamond Style Disc Necklace, which she hopes to personalise on both sides with her children's names and dates of birth.

From jewellery chosen for her wedding day to a personalised piece celebrating her family, we love the idea of each piece marking a different chapter in Amy's story.
