At LILY & ROO, Christmas is one of our favourite times of the year. It's a season filled with celebrations, meaningful gifting and jewellery that becomes part of life's most memorable moments.
Last Thursday, our team came together to photograph and film our brand-new Christmas Jewellery Collection, a campaign inspired by festive celebrations, elegant party dressing and timeless jewellery.
From sparkling evening looks to thoughtful Christmas gifts, our latest collection has been created to help you celebrate every occasion in style.
OUR NEW CHRISTMAS JEWELLERY COLLECTION IS COMING SOON
Our upcoming Christmas jewellery collection has been designed with the festive season in mind. Whether you're attending glamorous parties, winter weddings, New Year's Eve celebrations or searching for the perfect gift, these new pieces are made to add effortless sparkle to every outfit.
Featuring timeless designs in recycled sterling silver, 14ct & 18ct gold-plated and 9ct solid gold, alongside pearl pieces handcrafted in London, the collection combines quality craftsmanship with responsibly sourced materials to create beautiful keepsakes you'll reach for again and again.
A FESTIVE JEWELLERY CAMPAIGN BROUGHT TO LIFE
Our vision for this year's Christmas campaign was to capture the excitement of the festive season through elegant styling, warm seasonal tones and effortless party glamour. Following the incredible response to last year's seasonal collection, we wanted this year's campaign to feel like a natural progression; building on what our customers loved while creating something richer, more elevated and a little more indulgent for the season ahead.
Rather than simply revisiting last year's aesthetic, we looked at how we could take this collection one step further. Inspired by elegant Christmas soirées and the anticipation of getting dressed up to celebrate, we introduced a deeper, more luxurious colour palette of navy, burgundy, champagne and soft off-white. These shades were reflected throughout the wardrobe styling, creating a sophisticated festive feel while giving the new collection its own distinctive identity.
Every detail was carefully considered, from the wardrobe styling and glowing celebratory makeup to the lighting, props and set design. With a richer colour story running through the looks, we intentionally kept the backdrop clean and minimal in white, allowing the jewellery to remain the focus. Warm, golden lighting added depth, softness and a festive glow, while satin fabrics, shimmering sequins, delicate feather detailing and pearl embellishments brought texture and movement to the imagery. Subtle Christmas décor completed the setting, capturing the glamour and excitement of the party season without competing with the pieces themselves.
Ultimately, every creative decision came back to the jewellery and how we wanted it to make you feel: excited to dress up, celebrate and mark the special moments that make the party season so memorable.
Although we can't reveal every design just yet, we can't wait to share the finished collection with you. After seeing how strongly last year's occasional pieces resonated with our customers, we're delighted to be expanding the collection with even more designs this season. From elegant new styles to fresh takes on customer favourites, this year's collection offers more choice than ever before for party dressing, festive gifting and celebrating life's special moments.
MEET THE TEAM BEHIND THE CHRISTMAS CAMPAIGN
Bringing a campaign like this together takes creativity, collaboration and an incredible team - and this shoot was no exception.
The vision for the campaign began weeks before the shoot day itself. Alix (Managing Director), Phoebe (Head of Marketing), Emilia and Emilie (Marketing Executives) and Alexa (Social Media Executive) worked closely together to shape the creative direction, from the first ideas and mood boards through to the finer details of styling, set design and how the collection would be brought to life on camera. As Phoebe explains, “We wanted this year's campaign to feel like a natural progression from last Christmas - still unmistakably LILY & ROO, but with a richer, more indulgent feel. Once we landed on the colour palette and the idea of an elegant Christmas soirée, everything started to come together.”
On the day, Nicole brought the collection to life in front of the camera. At the same time, Katherine (Photographer) captured the campaign imagery and Daisy (Director of Photography) directed and filmed our campaign video, alongside Megan (Content Creator), who captured behind-the-scenes content offering a glimpse into everything that goes into creating a LILY & ROO shoot.
To complete the festive looks, Jesse created elegant makeup that perfectly complemented the styling, while Rachel (Fulfilment Assistant) and Millie (Production Manager) worked behind the scenes to keep everything running seamlessly. From coordinating the schedule and styling changes to making sure every detail was in place and capturing extra content throughout the day, there were plenty of moving parts to bring together.
For Millie, “There’s always a point on shoot day when all the planning suddenly comes to life. Seeing the jewellery under the lights alongside the finished styling is such a rewarding moment - especially after weeks of preparation behind the scenes.”
That sense of collaboration is a huge part of what makes our campaign shoots so special. Every person brings something different to the day, but it all comes together with one shared goal: creating something that feels distinctly LILY & ROO and showcases the collection at its very best.
It was, quite simply, a team effort that we're incredibly proud of - and we can't wait to share the finished campaign with you.
