When and where was your wedding?

Our wedding was on Sunday 23rd July 2023 at the Tithe Barn, Bolton Abbey in Skipton

What was your theme?

The theme was very classic and neutral! I wanted soft colours such as sage and champagne. I didn’t want to regret any of my colour choices and I certainly didn’t. They also worked so well with the venue.

How did you meet your partner?

My partner is Kris. We have been together six years and we met through my Dad. Kris played cricket with my dad so our paths crossed that way and it was nice that they were friends before I even met him!

What Lily & Roo products did you choose?

I chose to wear the ‘Silver small pearl drop hoop earrings’ as I felt they completed the look I was going for so well. They were modern yet classic. I love that you can remove the pearl if you want a more relaxed/everyday look! I knew I would also wear them again for special occasions in the future.

What advice would you give to brides to be?

The best advice I received upon my bridal journey was when I was dress shopping. The sales assistant advised me to just be myself on my wedding day and not overthink anything. Don’t try too hard to create a look that just isn’t you - make sure you feel special but comfortable on the day with all of your choices and you’ll simply feel like the best version of yourself.
