L&R Brides | 02 | Rose & Greg

When and where was your wedding?

Our Wedding was Saturday 10th June, at the beautiful Euridge Manor, Wiltshire, UK.

What was your theme?

Our theme was English garden with Italian inspiration, the gardens of Euridge are just so stunning and when we view this venue, it reminded us of being in Italy - our favourite place. We had little bottles of limoncello for our wedding favours and lots of bright and vibrant greens in our floral arrangements to compliment the venue.

How did you meet your partner?

Myself and Greg met at work after we both applied for the same promotion - he got the job! So I wasn’t his biggest fan at first - haha! After a year or so of working together he went onto a different role and I finally got that promotion! He asked me if I would like to go for a drink after work in which I accepted! We have been together for 6 years and we got engaged over 3 years ago in Rome, Italy.
It was only a couple weeks before everywhere locked down so Rome was very quiet so it felt like we had the city to ourselves, which was really special. He proposed as we were sat looking over at the colosseum in the evening, no-one was around and it was all lit up! It was perfect.

What Lily & Roo products did you choose?

My parents got me the beautiful gold pearl drop diamond hoop earrings - I loved them! They were exactly what I wanted, I always knew I wanted to wear pearls on my wedding day. The diamond hoop went perfectly with the necklace Greg had surprised me with on the morning on our wedding morning. I love how the pearls are removable too - I wore them as hoops on our mini-moon to Idle Rocks, Cornwall.

What was your favourite part of the day?

This is a tough one, either walking down the aisle with my dad and seeing Greg stood there looking incredible and very emotional! Or the moment we both walked into our wedding breakfast room, just us two and a few of our wonderful suppliers. We took it all in and had a moment of realisation, this was our wedding day and it had all come together. Everything from the flower arrangements to our dream cake, it was everything we had dreamed of and more! Thank you to Louise at L27 Weddings for co-ordinating the day and making it all happen.

What advice would you give to brides to be?

Everything will be perfect on the day, because it is about your love for each other, with the support of all your beautiful family and friends. Make sure you have a moment just you two, whether that is a walk or a dance just the two of you once everyone has left (we did this, would recommend). Soak it all up! It is the best feeling.
Oh and I was worried I would be tired after next to no sleep the night before (from nerves and excitement), but you’ll be on such a high, you won’t even notice!
